Common questions
Contact the Center before traveling. The station is small, access can change with the season, and research work takes priority. The birding area has historically been free to visit, with donations appreciated.
The Center's public record describes the Clark Frazier Small Grants program for neotropical bird research and education. The program may be seasonal, paused, or changed. Contact the Center for current guidelines.
Rights may rest with individual photographers, authors, or publishers. Contact the Center with the specific item and the way you plan to use it. Do not assume that a public web page grants permission.
Use eBird to record the date, place, and number of birds. Precise habitat notes are especially useful for rare or secretive species.
